As a Youth we are expected to perform well in all areas. This would require cultivating increased self-esteem and self-awareness through specific stress-relieving exercises. Yoga for youth helps develop the ability to be calm in the midst of action and the ability to have a quiet mind in the midst of turmoil. Yoga exercises and postures that systematically work with the body, breath and sound, enabling students to relax and achieve mental tranquility. Yoga benefits for youth include enhancing the self-confidence and gentle introduction to self-discipline. Yoga improves health which in turn, increases vitality, enthusiasm and appreciation for life. Yoga practice increases young people’s awareness and their ability to look within, to think independently and trust them. Taekwondo sessions
Sameer Nawani has been practicing Taekwondo for the past 13 years. He has won the National level tournament in 2000 and International tournaments for 2 consecutive years 2004-05. He holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt.
