WHAT IS IT?The Seliger Council is an appointed group of 5 people working closely with the Organising Committee in order to influence sustainable growth of the Seliger movement. The Council was founded in 2011 by the OC with the help of the most committed and engaged young leaders who have already proved their value throughout the previous forums. The Council consists of 5 members of which 4 people form a team of advisers to the Council Head. With an eye to achieve most beneficial collaboration between the OC and the Council as well as within the unit itself the duties of each Council member have been clearly defined (see the List of Duties at the bottom of the page). COUNCIL MISSION.Responding to the Forum’s growth the Council was created to ensure information coverage, promotion and further development of the Seliger Forum. Apart from Ambassadors Honorarium – Seliger representatives in particular geographical regions Seliger Council deals with general aspects of the Forum promotion, such as:
We expect the Council full involvement into the Forum Organizing process and presume that it will play one of the most important roles. The Council is required to participate actively in the Forum development and maintain close collaboration with the Organising Committee. BECOMING A MEMBER.The Council is appointed annually by the OC out of the most prominent members of the AH Club. The same people may be reappointed to the same position. The OC defines the functions of Advisers within the unit. Each adviser of the council can have assistants that shall not be part of the unit. The newly appointed Council comes to power as soon as the registration for the Forum opens. LIST OF DUTIES.The work will be of benefit for both sides if everyone knows what exactly they should do.
